Elizabeth Carovillano, LMHC, is a dedicated and compassionate therapist with a passion for helping individuals and groups navigate their emotional and mental well-being. Elizabeth has developed a deep understanding of the complexities of the human mind and has areas of specialization in anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, and self-esteem. She recognizes that every person's journey is unique, and she approaches each person with empathy and respect. Through her guidance and support, Elizabeth empowers individuals to gain insight, develop coping skills, and make meaningful changes that lead to a more fulfilling life.
Elizabeth holds a Master's degree in Counseling and Art Therapy from Southwestern College and has undergone extensive training in various therapeutic modalities, including art therapy, cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization
and Reprocessing), and mindfulness-based approaches including trauma informed yoga.
She has experience in facilitating intensive outpatient groups as well as groups for teens and women. She combines her knowledge and expertise to address the unique needs of each individual she works with and fosters a strong therapeutic alliance by building trust and rapport which is
crucial for empowering positive change.
